Hamed Hamouda

Biography:

Dr. Hamed Hamouda is a highly qualified microbiologist with a strong academic and professional background. He obtained his Ph.D. in Science from the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he was enrolled in the prestigious “CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Program” for doctoral degree. Dr. Hamouda's Ph.D. research focused on the microbiology of bioenergy and bioprocess technology. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science in Botany and Microbiology from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, and has earned postgraduate diplomas in Microbiology, Analytical Biochemistry, and General Microbiology. He gained extensive research experience in petroleum biotechnology and has worked as a Research Assistant at the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute (EPRI) since 2012. Furthermore, Dr. Hamouda is an International Postdoctoral Researcher at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China. Dr. Hamouda has also worked as a Medical Analysis Specialist and a Medical Representative at a pharmaceutical company. His expertise in microbiology and biotechnology makes him a valuable asset to any organization in the field.

Research Interests:

Dr. Hamed I. Hamouda is a researcher who has attended and presented at various international conferences and workshops related to biotechnology, petroleum, and mineral resources. He has presented posters and spoken at conferences held in Cairo, Egypt, and Beijing, China, between 2011 and 2019. Additionally, he has published several research articles in different journals, including the Journal of Biotechnology, the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, and the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, among others. His research focuses on bioethanol production, marine polysaccharides, and the characterization of enzymes.
